NEW MUSEUM PUBLICATION: Foreign Involvement in the South African War, 1899-1902
Since 2009, the Museum has dedicated itself to displaying and researching the history of all people, regardless of race, gender, or nationality, who were affected by this conflict. The War was indeed an international conflict that involved thousands of people from across the globe who participated both on the British and on the Republican side.
These nations include the British colonies, namely Australia, Canada, New Zealand and India, as well as a multitude of European and other nations on the Republican side. This publication on foreign involvement in the South African War represents a further step on the road to a fair and historically accurate representation of all communities and nationalities who participated in one way or another.
